ST KILDA WORD PRIZE 2010
TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Terms and conditions
(a) Eligibility for Entry: The Word Prize 2010 is open to everyone subject to the following guidelines terms and conditions

(b) Submission Guidelines:        
         (i) Words must be in English.
         (ii) Words must be typed in 12pt Times New Roman font with one-and-a-half line spacing on
               A4 paper.
         (iii) Each writer may submit up to three pieces of literature.
         (iv) The words must be original and not have been submitted elsewhere.
         (v) Each word entry must also be accompanied by a completed entry form.
         (vi) Words and entry forms MUST be submitted electronically AND by post.
              
Electronic submissions can be emailed to:
word@stkildaessence.com.au with name or pseudonym , address, email, contact number  and receipt number# if payment made through netbank.

(c) Payment: Each entry must be accompanied by a payment of $25. Payment may be made by cheque or money order to St Kilda Village Traders’ Group Inc.

(d) Word Count: words must be 1500 words or less.

(e) Judging Criteria: All entries will be judged on creativity, clarity, originality and writing style. All decisions made by the Judging Panel are final.

(f) Deadline: Entries close at 5pm on Friday 27th August 2010.

(g) Publication Rights: Entry gives the St Kilda Village Traders Group Inc and Fitzroy Street Business Association Inc the right to publish the words on their websites or in print, with due credit given to the author of the words.

(h) Payment of entry fee may be made by cheque, money order or netbank payment to St Kilda Village Traders’ Group Inc.

2. Winners
An awards event and exhibition will be held in October 2010. Date and details to be confirmed.
